Roma v Livorno (0:2) HOME
Added 2014-01-18 CET 11:24
Second from top meets second from bottom in the weekends first game in Seria A. Roma are back on the winning track, after a period before christmas when they collected 5 draws in 6 games, and they are big favourites to keep the run going tonight. At least for an hour or so, they can reduce Juventus'' lead to 5 points. Livorno are second from bottom only on goal difference, and they are in big trouble. A new manager was brought in this week, but I''ll be surprised if he can stop the slide already
Atletico Madrid v Barcelona (1/4:0) HOME
Added 2014-01-11 CET 10:56
Top of the table clash in Spain tonight, when Barcelona travel to Madrid and meets Atletico Madrid at Vicente Calderón. Both teams have been in stunning form all season, winning 16 out of 18 games, and both scoring goals for fun. This will be Atletico Madrid''s toughest test, and their chance to show they really mean business. They haven''t beaten Barcelona in their last 8 attempts(all competitions), but will hardly have a better chance than this.
It seems both managers can pick from a full
Catania v Bologna (0:1/2) HOME
Added 2014-01-05 CET 11:26
Christmas holiday in Italy is over and the bottom layer Catania welcomes Bologna parked right across the relegation zone before Christmas. 5 points separating the teams as both have amassed 10 points at home, Bologna has brought home five points from away games while Catania have always gone home with no points.
Catania as 2-4-2 5-7 at home, 0-0-9 4-23 away . Went into Christmas with 0-1-4 five....
Manchester City v Liverpool (0:1/4) HOME
Added 2013-12-26 CET 18:24
City No. 3, 1 point behind the opponent Liverpool manager. Total 11-2-4 51-20. At home, they have pretty 8-0-0 35-5! Will ie 4.4 goals on average at Etihad, and with good resistance to many of the games. An injured Aguero guess that is noticeable and most significant for the City''s wide stall. The shape is good, 6-1-0. Liverpool are also in good shape, but has faced an entirely different resistance than the City. Greatly to beat Tottenham 5-0 away, but towards the Cardiff West H and Norwich home
Everton v Sunderland (0:1 1/4) HOME
Added 2013-12-26 CET 10:27
Boxing day in England, and traditionally a great day for football. High flying Everton welcomes bottom of the league Sunderland to Goodison Park, where they''ll be looking to put further pressure on the top teams. Sunderland may have improved slightly after Poyet came in, but it seems their squad just isn''t good enough, and they''ve now played 6 games without a win. Ironically the last win was against Man City, which is the only team to have beaten Everton this season....
Braunschweig v Hoffenheim (1/2:0) AWAY
Added 2013-12-21 CET 14:52
In the last round before the winter break, two teams in the lower half of the table meets, when Eintracht Braunschweig welcomes Hoffenheim this afternoon. Braunschweig sits alone at the bottom with 8 points and only 2 wins all season. Their form is bad, with 4 straight defeats, and they will have a match on their hands against high scoring Hoffenheim.
Hoffenheim also concedes a lot of goals, but their form is looking better, 4 games unbeaten and 3 away wins out of the last 4....
